Squirrels Nursery Broxbourne is a 84 place nursery. A purpose built large building houses 4 rooms equipped and resourced for differing age ranges. A very large garden surrounds the building allowing for exciting outdoor learning opportunities. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in March 2018 (see report here) the nursery continues to thrive for excellence and outstanding care and education for babies and children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Students from Hertford Regional College may be subsidised by the college to help with childcare fees. The college is a rich resource of opportunities to support the high quality experiences we offer. For example, at Christmas time, students put on performances in the drama studio for the children at Squirrels to attend. In 2012, the faculty for Child Care & Health joined us in a new adjacent building on site where first class students will be trained.
